New reports that the United States is withdrawing from bases in Bahrain and Kuwait after weeks of consistent barrages from Iran have put US troops in harm’s way. So far President Trump has refused to comment on the situation. But here’s the thing: Nobody can tell you if this war with Iran is about to end or about to get worse, including, it seems, the two governments actually fighting it. President Trump says peace talks are happening. Iran says they’re not. And meanwhile, we’re getting reports of plans for massive new escalation. America Now’s Ben Swann talks with Ali Akbar Dareini, researcher and writer at the Tehran-based Center for Strategic Studies. And, a new startup in the US has developed a humanoid robot designed to carry military gear, move through dangerous terrain, and even clear buildings before troops enter. So exactly how close are we to seeing them on the battlefield? America Now’s Olivia Flynn has that story.
